2016 and 2017
No Memorial (2017) and Internecine (2016)
Internecine stemmed from the rift between my younger sister and me. The grief I experienced made clear to me she had been a comfort for the infant me, as well as for my mother, at the loss of my twin brother. My mother was told to leave my brother in hospital, go home and forget about him because he had congenital abnormalities.
I too carried a foetus with congenital abnormalities of such severity that termination was offered. The work I made in 2017 stems from this experience and my voluntary work with women suffering PTSD post termination. No Memorial is for them.
